Warning:
  • Be sure to turn off the electrical supply at the circuit breaker before installation.
  • Installation must be done by a qualified electrician only.
  • Do not attempt to install the unit yourself.
  • Do not use with a dimmer. (IMPORTANT: using with a dimmer will void the warranty).
Caution:
  • Improper installation may result in a risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury to persons.
  • Be sure the fan is to be connected to the grounded outlet box.
  • It's ESSENTIAL that blades be NO LESS THAN 2.3 meters from the floor and that adequate clearance exists between the fan and adjacent walls, furnishings, etc.
  • If the fan is operating abnormally, cut the power off immediately for inspection.
  • T indicates suitable for tropical climates.
  • Ta-Ambient temperature 45 C.
  • Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliances.
Cleaning:

Disconnect the electrical supply for safety purposes. Use a cloth with a neutral cleaning agent to clean the fan. Then wipe it with a dry cloth. DO NOT IMMERSE THE MOTORHEAD IN WATER.

Precautions:

  • Use only the built-in charger;

– no third-party/solar chargers.

  • Do not use dimmers/voltage regulators on the supply line;

– connect to clean 220–240 V AC.

  • Install indoors only;

– avoid outdoor/high-humidity/saline/corrosive environments.

  • Do not open or modify:

– the sealed battery compartment, BMS, or wiring.

  • Prevent terminal shorting;

– and accessories only.

  • Proper earthing required;

–  ensure a grounded neutral common across the premises.

  • Verify wiring & voltage quality;

– sustained over/under-voltage, surges, harmonics, or generator/inverter output outside spec can damage electronics—use a suitable stabilizer/UPS if needed.

  • Keep away from water/chemicals;

– do not clean with liquids/solvents; wipe with a dry/anti-static cloth.

  • Authorized installation only;

– improper mounting or weak ceiling structure can cause hazards.

  • Inverter/generator use:

– ensure waveform/voltage compatibility before connection.

  • Pest/rodent protection:

– prevent nesting/chewing near wiring and canopy


Non-Liability & Warranty Exclusions: 

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tamoor Fans will not be responsible for damage, failure, loss, or claims arising from any of the following.
These items void warranty and exclude liability:

  • Connection to incorrect voltage/frequency, sustained over/under-voltage, phase imbalance, brownouts, surges, lightning, grid transients, harmonics, or power factor correction issues not with in spec.
  • Use with dimmers, rheostats, SCR/triac regulators, or non-approved controllers.
  • Use with inverters/generators/UPS whose waveform, THD, or voltage falls outside device specifications.
  • Outdoor exposure; installation in ⁠high humidity, saline, corrosive, dusty, oily, or ⁠explosive atmospheres.
  • Operation with blocked ventilation, in enclosures, or near heat sources; excessive ambient temperatures outside rated range.
  • ⁠ Structural issues (weak ceilings, faulty anchor points), vibration due to building/duct resonance.
  • Opening, modifying, bypassing, or replacing the battery/BMS or using non-OEM cells/packs/chargers.
  • Short-circuiting, puncturing, crushing, immersing, or overheating the battery; failure to observe charge/discharge temperature limits.
  • Third-party firmware/hardware alterations, jumpers, or any attempt to disable protections.
  • Use of non-Tamoor blades, rods, controllers, downrods, remotes, or adapters; mixing of brands/components.
  • Lack of reasonable maintenance/cleaning; ingress of pests/rodents; chemical exposure; paint/coating overspray.
  • Cosmetic damage (dents, scratches, discoloration), noise perception, or airflow feel variations that do not affect fundamental function.
  • Acts of God/force majeure (e.g., flood, lightning, storm, earthquake), fire, vandalism, civil disturbance, theft.
  • Transport/handling damage after delivery; missing proof of purchase; serial numbers/labels removed or altered; counterfeit products.
  • Tampering & Repairs: Any self-repair, modification, or unauthorized service.
  • Installation Issues: Damage from improper installation, absence of common neutral wiring, or lack of surge/circuit protection.
  • Environmental Damage: Moisture, water, or storage in damp/humid conditions.
  • Non-standard Chargers: Use of any charger other than the Tamoor Fans 85W built-in charger.
  • Aftermarket Batteries/External Devices: Use of non-original batteries or connecting other devices to the fan.
  • Battery Misuse: Using the fan’s battery to power or charge other appliances.
  • Unauthorized Power Sources: Connecting to DC chargers or direct solar panels.
  • Inverter Issues: Use with incompatible inverters producing incorrect waveforms.
  • Generator Use: Operation on generators with unstable voltage supply.
  • Negligence: Failure to disconnect the battery during long storage, or failure to recharge at least once a month during non-use.
